"The most important thing for the Roma or poor people is to stay healthy."
In the latest interview from our "I'm a Roma Woman" campaign we hear from proud Hungarian Romani woman Ilona Notar in Budapest.
Ilona has enjoyed a colorful career to date, working as a social worker before finding a real talent for writing as a journalist for the Center for Independent Journalism.
The majority of her experience however lies in healthcare, specifically midwifery. As Ilona says, "the most important thing for the Roma or poor people is to stay healthy."
